Work sample Year 1 - 2 Italian: Posso scrivere in italiano

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Year 1 and 2 Posso scrivere in italiano. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • locate and convey key items of information in texts using non-verbal, visual and contextual cues to help make meaning • use familiar words and modelled language to create texts • demonstrate understanding that Italian has conventions and rules for non-verbal communication, pronunciation and writing.
